Newbie; How to fill a new request!

Either i'm stupid or something doesn't work on the cgpeers! I went to to post a request but no button/link there to add a new request; only the possiblity to search for existing requests..

So I went to the request forum and posted a thread but it doesn't appear on the requests page!?

I checked the faq but they don't mention anything about how to publish new requests!!

Anybody?
