Rayfire: Solution to a simple issue?

Here's what I'm trying to do:

I want an object to fall from the sky and land on the ground and not shatter. I then want another object to land on top of it to cause it to shatter. The problem I am seeing is if I fragment it too early then it will shatter on the first fall, so it would need to be fragmented after it lands and stabilizes, but before the 2nd object hits it.

It seem's simple, but I am new to Rayfire and just looking for a tip here. Thanks!


PS. Its Rayfire on 3ds Max 2014
