Hey peeps.
So, I've been struggling with Krakatoa for the past 2 weeks or so.. and with GFX overall, I recently upgraded my PC so I haven't really gotten into this stuff untill now.
So, my questions is simple. How new is this Krakatoa support in C4D? Is it good enough to really get stuff done for a beginner like myself? I find myself baffled as to what to actually do to achieve pretty much any idea I get.. For example, today I wanted to simply create a RealFlow simulation, which went fine, and then import it as a .prt sequence into Krakatoa C4D to make some foamy looking particles. No luck, I only got as far as this render:
Obviously not what I'm after, I can't for the life of me figure out how to color the particles the way I want to. I'm simply after any available material or tips/tricks that can help me along the way to learning this stuff at this point. Is anybody here using Krakatoa for C4D? Every tutorial I can find is either using 3ds max or Maya... so I'm starting to doubt how far the development has gotten for C4D.
Also, I can add that I'm using RealFlow 2014 (8.0.0.0147), Cinema 4D R16.021 and KrakatoaC4D 2.3.1.55496, with Windows 8 x64. Just in case any of that matters.
