I can't seem to get the right information out of the sticky thread on Adobe CC, so I was hoping that I could get some assistance in this sub-forum.
I was able to successfully install the Adobe CC 2014 suite using the X-Force method. Everything I've needed to use has been working flawlessly, but I've noticed that quite a large list of updates has been showing up under the Adobe Update Manager Tool (the actual, real Adobe updater).
I've gathered from some of the threads that people are getting licenses revoked by updating using Adobe's tool. And I'm also seeing issues with people using the AUMT 7.1 by PainteR updater as well. Other than that I see some comments about AUMT 6.2 by PainteR having a little more luck.
Are we at the point that any of those methods have been deemed as 100% safe? Is there an upcoming AUMT 7.2 from PainteR that is supposed to be the "best" method of updating? Do we have any idea if this is something that would be out in a week? A month? A year?
I'm not in a huge rush to update, but I would like to eventually and I want to make sure that when I do I'm using the approach that is deemed as the most safe.
