nuke 8 licence utility issue

I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me out, I'm trying to reinstall Nuke 8 but I'm having real problems. Before anyone says i am doing something wrong i should point out that usually i have no problems at all installing this but i have just done a fresh osx install and no matter what i do i can't get the licence server to run.

I'm currently running osx 10.9.3 and i can install Nuke no problem but when i try and install the licensing tools it fails it does install the licensing software but when i run the diagnostics it says that i don't have the RLM or FLEXim installed and i don't have the relevant tabs for starting and stopping the services.

i have tried several things to sort this out with no luck if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it as i have been at this now for almost 24hours straight.
