My restore points are infected..any help?

Hi all,
For years "system restore" has gotten me out of infected pcs.
This time, any systen restore point I go back to are infected.
Has anyone found a work around or fix?
I tried Malewarebytes but it didn't work.
I really don't want to do a resinstall.
Any help would be appreicated
